The off-grid hut balances rugged wilderness with thoughtful, functional comfort. Designed with open-plan simplicity and bathed in natural light, the cabin's expansive, curtainless windows connect you directly to the sweeping ridges and the private, spring-fed dam below. Inside, a streamlined kitchen comes fully equipped with cookware, a gas stove, and a gas fridge-freezer, alongside a private indoor bathroom with a hot shower and flushing toilet. This is a fully self-catered stay — guests are required to bring their own bedding, towels, and drinking water.

Built to sleep up to six guests, the flexible layout includes a queen bed, a set of single bunks, a single bed, and a single trundle. Warm 12V lighting sets the mood at night, and an internal wood-fire heater keeps the cabin cosy as the crisp high-country evening rolls in. USB ports are provided for charging small devices, but standard 240V power and cellular service are largely absent — so you can truly unplug, pour a drink, and enjoy a rare pocket of wilderness entirely on your own terms.

Guests also have exclusive access to The Basecamp, a private riverside day-camp with its own BBQ area, toilet, and shower facilities — the perfect base for a day spent on the water.
